Paragraph.
Becoming?
"You really shouldn't do that Kizzy, It's not becoming of a young lady such as yourself."
What is becoming? I mean, what does that even mean really?
We know what the dictionary tells us, (proper, attractive, appropriate, suitable) but that definition can only go as far as you take it. It seems to me that the word becoming has a lot of layers to it, one of those words that tends to morph into whatever you want it to mean.
For example: take the word perfect, one's person's view of perfection is always different from another.
I have found this same instance to be true with the word becoming.
"Oh no, you should not eat, shit, fuck, breath, talk out of context, live, or die, because it is unbecoming"
In fact just that sentence alone isn't very becoming at all.
I can't help but wonder about these things that contribute to unbecoming behavior.
Like Sexual Expression.
For a woman to be in tune with her sexuality is only not frowned upon in the even that it isn't publicized or made aware. The minute that it is known that you are sexually aware or open to sexual expression, you now become raunchy?
Why is it that just because a woman is secure with sexuality she is now promiscuous? It doesn't seem very unbecoming to me.
Seems to me that smoking, use of profanity, and even sexual expression by women, will always be frowned upon. I personally think that it is really sad, considering the fact that I am a person who partakes in all three.
I'm not saying that being ladylike isn't the right thing to do, that would be just plain ignorant. What I am saying is that woman in today's society have things hard enough as it is, and although it is more efficient in some cases to be on your p's and q's with one's presence. I just feel that women should learn to be themselves, kick back and ultimately relax a little. At the appropriate moment of course.

Ny Hot Dogs.
Ahh, all those hot dog stands...
Every New Yorker loves their dirty water hot dogs. Ya know what I mean, the hot dog stands that you see around the city with the sweaty men who operate them. They post up on the corners with the big Sabret and Nathans umbrellas. Tons of hot dogs that you know have been sitting in the same water since 8am, even though your purchasing it at 6pm, and your okay with that. We look forward to eating those hot dogs on summer days. We even take it so far as to looking for the man without the gloves, maybe it's so we can have a "real Nyc experience"with our food, maybe we are really hungry, or maybe we are just gross. We scour out the men who are closest to restaurants and places with restrooms, and avoid them. Then we complain. We bitch and moan of the hot dogs being filthy, that we wont eat those vile dogs - but we do. We eat them, and we love them. Damn those dirty water dogs...

Love vs. Sex
Love and Sex
Now realize, I'm about to get in to a very touchy subject. So, for the overly sensitive and easily offended this is not recommended reading.
Love and sex. Two completely different things that are so quickly and easily confused to be one in the same. I cant even begin to understand why people believe that sex is merely an extension of love and love alone. I mean, sure, when to people are completely devoted to one another, sex can be used as a portal to validate that love. I'm not disagreeing to this fact. The problem with me comes in when people feel as if sex should only be viewed as an increment of love.
Sex isn't a magical act in which "seals the deal" to true love. Sex is just that - sex. Nothing, more, nothing less. It only becomes an accessory to love if that is the way you choose for it to be.
Now, here is when I get the shouts and roars from the uptight conformists, southern belles, traditionalists, naive little girls, pilgrim minded fools and the guys who haven't gotten laid yet. I hate those pointless roars. I call them pointless because it seems that no one looks at the logic in a situation anymore. Logically, love and sex are separate things that give you completely different feelings entirely.
Love is magical. Sex is passionate. Love is in your heart. Sex is in your veins. Love can be blinding. You can sense sex, a mile away.
Now don't get me wrong sex+love=beautiful things, like children and physical bonding. It is a stimulating experience for those who are truly in love.
Sex without love is also (contrary to what some believe) equally as stimulating. Which brings me to the area of sexual expression, something that I am a huge supporter of. Sex is an outlet for creativity. It is a beautiful thing that two people who are not in love can still connect through and enjoy. It should not be looked at as a void in the relationship aspect of a single persons life. Instead, it should be embraced as the beautiful, alluring, tantalizing and inspirational act in which it is.
I don't believe (and this is a strongly opinionated statement) that abstinence is the correct way to go about love. Waiting for sex until your married can end a marriage, because, while sex does not influence love, it does take a part in relationship development. If the sex isn't satisfying it can cause for bigger problems later on in a marriage. Problems which may have been caused from hidden feelings of sexual depression.
I take life as a try before you buy experience. Which makes it easier to determine your level of happiness before you enter a situation that may not have been so splendid. Now isn't that logical?
